Love is real
It is not just in novels or the movies
It is fact
And it is standing here right in front of you
So if you open your eyes
Oh what a sweet discovery
There is hope, and there is joy, and there is acceptance
Love is real It is not just in long distance commercials
Or something that you thought you felt back in high school
So I will turn black and white
Become that horoscope you're reading
It predicts something good is on its way
Oh, and then I will send you the world green and blue
In a box through the mail
You can open it up, hold it right in your hand
And be glad that it's there
And be glad that you're there
Now, you can feel all the knots in your stomach start to untie
And suddenly it's not so hard to say you're all right
Love is real
It is not just in poetry and stories
It is truth, and it will follow you
Everywhere you go from now on
So if you'd just cast off your doubt
Then your lips would answer for you
Oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song
And I can hear it now

fall beginnings

It's a brand new season. To be honest, I am usually never excited about the end of summer. There is just something about summer that makes me want to hold onto it. But this year, I am thrilled for fall & the cooler weather.

So far this season..

I've also been doing some bridal/wedding showering, since two of my girlfriends are getting married in November, and spending plenty of quality time with family and friends. And shopping.
Waayyyy too much shopping.

absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

So I found out Monday that Kevin will be traveling to Cali on a small tour for 3 weeks in November.
THREE WEEKS!!! :(:(

I am so excited and happy for him and extremely proud of him for succeeding at what he loves, but I can't help but be bummed that I'll be without him for 21 days straight (and then even more because I'll be leaving for home around Thanksgiving). I'll miss him so much.

I will just have to stay busy and try not to think about it too much. At least thank goodness for technology and Skype! Whenever we both have some downtime, if possible we are going to try and watch Arrested with each other over the phone. So it's like we are getting to hang out even though he will be across the country!

Fortunately, I have a lot of things to look forward to in November, and I am getting so excited about the holidays just around the corner. Can't wait to spend them with this fella :)
